Update

This is a caffeine free update.  I have decided to make this my last boring update.  Going forward, I’ll only post meaningful updates.

My sleep schedule has basically leveled out.  The headaches are almost non-existent now.  The memory and attention problems are coming around.  I’m doing much better without caffeine.

Memory

One thing I have noticed is my short term memory is pretty horrible lately.  I was in the shower two days ago and thought that I forgot my washcloth so I got out, dripped on everything in the bathroom, grabbed my washcloth, got back into the shower only to find another washcloth exactly where I always put it – draped over the shower head.  It was there the entire time.  What was I thinking?  I also forget what I’m thinking about sometimes and forget what I was going to say.  It’s frustrating.  I actually think this is due to sleep abnormalities.  I believe it will even out over time.

Emotion

I still feel a lack of emotion and excitement.  I have two feelings: chilled out and frustrated.  I’m either mellow or I’m bothered by something.  That bothers me.  See… there I go again!  =)

Conclusion

Look up the symptoms of adrenal exhaustion and see if you relate to them.  Coffee can throw your entire body out of whack.  I know it’s natural but it’s still a drug.  It forces your body into a state it would not be in with any other food.  If you quit caffeine, you’ll have a few days of headaches, and few days of being tired, and then everything is alright again.  The difference is that you’ll feel like yourself again.
