I’m sorry after I got caught

People act all righteous on the comment section of Fox News. The Baltimore mayor caught for doing some shady deals with her book sales gets convicted and says she’s sorry and takes responsibility for her actions. All the comments say stuff like “yeah you’re sorry now after you get caught”. So self righteous. They minimize feeling remorse after getting caught.

Well, that’s how things work. Getting caught is humbling and makes you come down off of your prideful state.

There’s nothing wrong with learning a lesson after getting caught. Will she truly learn or will she return to it? Time will tell. But as of now she has been humbled and is responding appropriately. I commend her for it.
