Why is the price of everything compared to a cup of coffee? Writer #1, 2024-06-112024-06-12 What is the deal with always saying “for the price of a cup of coffee”? It’s really tainting my view of the price of coffee. I mean, every time I have to buy a cup of coffee now I’m thinking “this costs as much as supporting that guy’s podcast and I thought that was a ripoff. Maybe I should not be buying this either.” Anyway, there is no official standard coffee price. I see it advertised for $.99 sometimes and I see it for $3 too. Some people never get plain coffee so therefore a cup of coffee is $6-$8. Those people are insane, but still, they’re out there. (I don’t mean “out there” in the sense that I’m calling them crazy because that would be rude.) People should realize that the price of a cup of coffee is actually a rip off. Heck, a bag of coffee costs about as much as two cups of coffee. Or you could say half a bag of coffee costs as much as a cup of coffee. Just Info
