Republican Point of View Writer #1, 2015-06-04 In my view, if you compare the democrat’s view and expectation on government with the republican’s, you’ll come up with something like this: Republican Mob rule cannot apply. Individual rights are above all. Government is to protect people’s rights and safety. Government should remain small. Democrat Government should reflect the will of the loudest people. Individual rights are less important than community interest. Government should force fairness. Government should grow and control everything possible. So, again, that’s from my point of view. I am not a real republican. I am a voluntaryist at heart. When comparing democratic ideals to republican ideals, I most closely side with republican’s. The point of this article, however, is to trash the republican’s position in this world. Yes, I am going to beat up the “side” that I most closely identify with. Why would I do that? Because the one tiny thing that I disagree with in the republican party is enough to sour the entire thing for me, so while I disagree with democrats whole-heartedly, at least they are consistent in their stupidity. The republicans, on the other hand, aim at one thing and cry when they get too much of it. What am I talking about? Government. So what are democrats also called? Liberals and progressives. They are liberal and progress toward something. And the one thing that B. Hussein Obama promised was “change”. So they have been forthcoming with their plans and they have delivered. They got forced health insurance passed into “law”, fulfilling all four points above, particularly point number four while the others only appear to have been fulfilled. They take swings at gun laws at every possible turn. They raise taxes. THEY CHANGE THINGS and they do it a lot. What are republicans also called? Conservative, and they promote small government. Here’s my big problem with them. They are government and they say that there shouldn’t be too much of them. They are saying “we’re the best, but you don’t want too much of us”. “Vote for us and we’ll become less for you.” The issue here is the hypocrisy. If you vote for them you’re essentially voting for a democrat to a lesser degree. The best they can do is become like the democrats of yesteryear. They try not to go anywhere. Their goal is to stay where they’re at. The problem is that is just like playing defense and having no offense. Even if you’re good, you’re going to lose. In all my experience, I have concluded that you should either be a big-government democrat, or an anarchist. Anything in between is hypocrisy. I see Facebook posts daily stating how the democrats screw stuff up and destroy our country, and yet those people who post it think that a republican stealing their tax money and making laws to be enforced at gunpoint would be more American. It’s either fine for democrats to do whatever they can get away with or it’s not. If it’s not then it’s not fine for republicans to do the same thing. Random Awesomeness
