Consensus Paradox Writer #1, 2010-04-09 This reminds me of being in 3rd grade when I’d jokingly say “Hey Bobby, what’s your name?” The government is saying “We need to count you.” And they just said, “Well, so far we’ve counted 16% of everyone.” So wait a minute, you know what percentage of people responded to the census? Wouldn’t that mean you know how many people there are already? And hey, don’t you already have birth certificates for everyone? And death certificates? And social security cards? Plus, people file taxes and declare how much they make and how many people are in their household. And don’t forget voter registration cards which confess your political beliefs along with where you live. What is the “government” lacking? In my humble opinion, this is slave practice. Keep the slaves answering to the system so they don’t forget who is in charge. I admit, it’s constitutional to get a count, but that was in the constitution before birth certificates, death certificates, social security cards, and income tax filings. The “government” has all the data they need to know everything about you. This is simply training you and invading your privacy, while keeping distinction of races fresh in everyone’s mind.
